ABOUT ISSAC CANADY
Born in new haven, CT (1959) during a great time of change, was influenced by MLK, black panthers, Malcom X and many other activists from that error. I am a street artist. 90% of my work has been created on the streets of New Haven. I wheel a variety of tools, forms and colors fused in pencil and ink. My work speaks about culture fusion peace, healing, growth and change and how all things that live, breathe and connects organically. Most of all it screams preservation and cultivation of life.
I am trained in dance and self taught visually. Visual arts chose me at a time in my life needed most. I am a vehicle and someone else dose the driving. It is my passion , However I don’t recall as a youth ever recognizing or being down to any other artist, visually that is. It wasn’t until after I started experimenting with pen and paper that I began to notice other artists and their work, but by then I had already developed my own style and technique.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
